Q 1 |
How many Hiclones does a vehicle need? |
| Number of Hiclones will depend on an engine fuel type and or whether it is a turbo charged or an intercooled engine. Furthermore, it is also possible to install optional Hiclones. We are able to provide general and specialised fitting guidlines as descriped in "Tech. Details" part of the website. |
Q 2 |
If Hiclone is so good, why haven't the manufacturers fitted them? |
| Some manufacturers have incorporated the Hiclone principle into their air induction systems and have introduced a twist into the airflow. Hiclone still improves these systems along with the other associated benefits that Hiclones brings. |
Q 3 |
What about engine warranty? Will Hiclone invalidate a warranty? |
| Fitting Hiclone will not invalidate an engine warranty which will remain in force. |
Q 4 |
How to find out Hiclone size for a particular vehicle? How to measure an air intake pipe/hose to find out what size of Hiclone is appropriate? |
| While we have an extensive application lists (see "Tech. Details" page of the website), we obviously do not cover all vehicles. If a vehicle is not covered by our application list, firstly the air intake pipe/hose where the Hiclone should be fitted needs to be identified, then the air intake pipe/hose diameter measured (information how to measure the hose are provided within the "General Fitting Guideline" page of the website ), and accordingly the appropriate Hiclone can be chosen. |
